Curvy Kate Soda Pop - A Review

Review of Curvy Kate Soda Pop Bra

I have been drooling over Curvy Kate's SS15 bras since January, so when the Soda Pop finally came out, I was elated. Everything I own from Curvy Kate thus far has either been black, dark blue, or white. The Soda Pop is a perfect color for spring/summer. This is my first balcony style from Curvy Kate so I was surprised to see how well it fit.

Band Size: Like most Curvy Kate styles, it has a stretchy band. It is a 28 band that stretches out to 31". I like it because it feels neither too tight nor too loose.

Cup Size: The 28DD bra's cups run true to size.

Cup Shape: I had feared that this bra was going to be too shallow at the bottoms of the cups. It is just perfect in shape. It is very open at the tops of the cups, which is great for FOT types or people who are tall rooted.

Cup Spacing and Centre Gore: So-so. The gore is really high and uncomfortable. I also wish that the gore was narrower, despite me having far-apart spaced breasts.

Verdict: This is theoretically 75% a good bra, but I really love the fit. The only thing I don't like is the high gore discomfort. Go for this bra if you are FOT and/or tall rooted.

Gossard Superboost Cosmetix - A Review

Review of Gossard Superboost Cosmetix Bra

As much as the last Gossard bra I tried was a perfect fit, I had to resell it because it wasn't what I wanted aesthetically. I wanted something with just as good of a fit but aesthetically more pleasing to me. In comes the Gossard Superboost Cosmetix, a bra that looks to fit the bill. While it is indeed aesthetically more pleasing, it did not pass the fit test. Why Gossard, why?

The pissed off girl in the left picture shows perfectly how disappointed I am with this bra.

Band Size: Very tight. It is supposedly a 30 band but it stretches out to only 29". It would be good for anyone who needs a 28 band.

Cup Size: The 30D bra's cups run true to size.

Cup Shape: This bra, like the Aerie Kate, is a Jude clone. It is too shallow and broad wired. It cuts into my flesh diagonally just like the Cleo Jude does. It even sorta looks like the Jude.

Cup Spacing and Centre Gore: Good. The gore is low as it is a plunge bra. It has good cup separation for my far-apart spaced breasts

Verdict: This is theoretically 75% a good bra. Go for this bra if the Cleo Jude fits you.

New Petite Line! New York & Company presents its Petites collection!

In recent years, more and more brands have been offering petite clothing collections. If you're the kind of gal who loves Banana Republic, LOFT, and Anthropologie, not to mention the Gap, Old Navy, and J Crew, you'll love the new collection for petites by New York & Company. Their offerings come in sizes 0P - 16P. While they offer a decent selection of shirts, skirts, and pants, their standout items are the feminine and bright dresses. Here are some of my favorites:
