28C - The hardest find in bra sizes!

28C is indeed the hardest size to find. 28 and 30 A and B are common for petite bra brands, 28 bands and above in D cups and above are common for full bust brands, 30C is common for mid sized bra brands, yet 28C is commonly ignored, even though I think that 28C occurs more commonly than 28A, 28B, and 30A.
Here are some suggestions for finding a bra in 28C:

1. Freya Deco Softcup - comes in 28C

2. ThirdLove, widely renowned for their half cup sizes (30C½, 30D½, 32B½ etc) now offer a bra in 28C!!! It is called the Plunge Perfect. It is a bra specifically created for people who are short rooted and/or are FOB: https://www.thirdlove.com/products/blush-plunge-perfect

3. TOM Girl Apparel - their yoga bra comes in sizes 28C through 28G and 30B through 30F: http://www.tomgirlapparel.com/shop2.html

4. Marks and Spencer have so many bras that come in 28C:

5. Skarlett Blue is a relatively new brand, having been on the market only since Winter 2014. They cover a sorely missed spot in the lingerie market: the small-band medium-cup size range. They carry 28C - 30E, 32A - 36F and have just one style in 28C: the Minx Front Close Racerback Push-up bra.

Hope this helps!

  1. 26J is hard, too! (26 anything, I'm guessing) Very well written post, though-if I need to recommend a 28C to anyone, I'll definitely use this as a guide for which bras come in that size! =^__^=

    1. 26 bands in any cup size is hard to find because it is so rare. try Made in Preston, because they make 26 bands up to a J cup: http://madeinpreston.com/lingerie/where/cup/j/size/26

  2. How do you find clothes, dresses, shirts etc in that size? Can you please suggest a few places that I can check. I'm the same size and I'm trying to find proper fitting clothes in my size so I'm better dressed.

    1. It's really hard to find proper fitting clothes if you are petite. My suggestion would be to learn how to make your own clothes. Skinny Bitch Curvy Chick specifically makes patterns for very thin ladies. Their smallest size goes down to fit people who have the measurements 30-24-32.

  3. I just don't have the cash to spend 75.00 on a bra. I wish they made bras in my size that I could find in stores.

    1. If price is your first priority and you need 28C, I recommend the Marks and Spencer Angel brand.

If you are able to spend a bit more, Freya, Thirdlove, TOMgirl, and Skarlett Blue are all in the $45-$50 range.

  4. I agree that it’s really hard to find proper sized bras. I have started wearing sports bra while doing exercise. And really glad to find them very bendable. Their look is also fashionable. Would like to buy few more along with beautiful leggings.
