I have always wanted a v-neck sweater that didn't go too low and expose too much skin. When I saw this sweater at the Banana Republic Boxing Day sale I knew I had to have it. It was originally $70 but it was marked down to $23.50. What a deal! It came in all sorts of candy colours, including hot pink, orangey-red, and bright yellow but I decided to stick with the green colour as it seemed sensible yet fun.
Sweater: Banana Republic, size PXS
Long-Sleeved Tee: Old Navy, size PXS
Jeans: Levi's Curve ID Slight Curve, size 25W x 30L
I wore a petite long-sleeved tee under the sweater by Old Navy. Oldnavy.com has a great selection of petite basics, perfect for layering. As you can see, it is also a v-neck but since it is petite, it does not go too low or expose too much skin.
The jeans are Levi's Curve ID. Levi's Curve ID is my HG jeans because not only do they look at your waist size, they also look at your inseam and waist-hip ratio. If you are a boyish or apple shape with a straight waist and small hips/butt, the Slight Curve cut will fit you the best. If you are a pear or hourglass shape with a tiny waist and big hips/butt, the Bold Curve cut will fit you the best. If you are evenly proportioned with the ideal .7 waist/hips ratio, the Demi Curve cut will fit you the best. Since I am a short person with a boyish shape and I have a flat butt, I chose the Slight Curve in size 25 inseam 30.
